Shaina's Smoked Salmon with cheesy hashbrowns and iced coffee were delightful. Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. On the pricier side due to elevated ambience and food quality. I'll be back with friends whenever I pass through town again!
I recently visited Meating Ground Cafe and was absolutely blown away! The dirty chai latte, was perfectly spiced and had a delightful creaminess. The highlight was definitely the grassfed cheeseburger on a homemade sourdough bun. It was incredibly juicy, fresh and flavorful, cooked to perfection, and paired wonderfully with french fries fried in tallow. Honestly, I can say it was the best burger and fries I have ever had! If you're in the area, you must stop in. I can't recommend it enough! 10/10!
Beautiful gem of a cafe with a great atmosphere. Friendly staff, fast service. No rush or fuss. I tried the Chef's bowl, wife had Shainas Avocado. Friends had Rubuen sandwich and Belgian waffles. Great food and a great experience overall. Sorry, no food pics. I was hungry lol
I will kickoff this review by stating, nostalgia took the morning for me today . Growing up a mere quarter-mile away from this establishment ((moved to Winterville in the Summer of 1999 a couple months before HurricaneFloyd)), I remember when this was a Subway . The food, service, and atmosphere were all on-point today. We ordered the Smoked Salmon Avocado Toast w/ Fruit on the side, the Huevos Rancheros w/ the Cheesy Hash Browns, as well as some Orange Juice, the Golden Milk Tea, and the London Fog Tea. The pricing amounted to 20–30 per person, which may seem slightly elevated but can be deemed sufficient when taking the quality/fresh nature of the food, as well as the quaint, clean and well-put-together atmosphere. I look forward to visiting this restaurant again in the near future, and I encourage everyone to give it a worthwhile look as well .
We tried the Meating Ground Cafe this morning for the first time, and we were very impressed with this little gem in Winterville. We had the Southern Crunch Wrap, Good Morning Croissant, and orange juice. The food was awesome, and the workers were really nice. We will be stopping by again real soon.
Meeting Ground Cafe takes food to a level of excellence that would rival the best, and hold its own next to any 5 star rated Micelin restaurant. Their fresh, and innovative creations will satisfy the most discriminating taste buds, and keep you coming back until you try everything on the menu! A big city gem of a restaurant in a small town. I personally utilize their catering services on a regular basis. Their cuisine is always a crowd favorite, and their presentation is absolutely stunning! By the way, their customer services is EXCELLENT!
Great atmosphere. You can dine inside or outside. Fabulous food and drinks. We ordered the pork belly tacos, cuban sandwich, and meatballs. All were 10/10! Cucumber salad is good, has a little kick. Wine and lattes were out of this world. Highly recommend this place.
